It was awfully late when the limo driver arrived to pick us up from the prom dance, and well, we were a mess, we had danced so much our legs actually turned into jello. The walk to the limo felt like an expedition through an enormous ball-pit, you know, the kind with thousands of plastic balls like they have at the McDonalds Play-place. Slowly made our way to the limo, clutching at each other as our legs wobbled underneath us like noodles trying to walk sexy in our long evening dresses was not easy.

Then, suddenly, I heard a loud YELP!, and I turned around quick to see what was happening. Catastrophe unfolded before me in slow motion.

Sammy had apparently tripped on her gorgeous prom dress, she was heading for the ground when Kyle turned around to save her, but it was too late.

As Sammy collided with him she tried to grab onto whatever she could, but the only thing she could grab in time were Kyle’s pants! She held on to those pants for dear life. Obviously Kyle’s belt wasn’t on tight enough (fashion statement?) and she ripped them down to his knees.

They both fell to the ground with a loud thump, Kyle landed on his back with his pants around his ankles, and Sammy landed right on top of him.

They both laid there in front of the whole senior class, Kyle in his whitie-tighties and Sammy straddling him! The laughs were deafening as everyone flocked around us, and I heard a few people yelling “get room!” and “save it for later!” I was so embarrassed, I cant even imagine how embarrassed Kyle and Sammy might be right there, in the middle of our prom night.

If the bright red of their faces was any indication, then they were devastated.

I hurried over and helped Sammy, and Kyle got up on his own and pulled his pants back up.

We hobbled to the limo as fast as we could and instructed the driver to make haste! We sat silently in the limo, but after about ten minutes we started to laugh… and laugh … and laugh…

And then fixed our evening dresses and decided to go to Kyle’s place to party some more.
